Chevy Blazer S10
Yearly changes are done to
Chevy Blazer S10 models. It was first introduced in 1982 by Chevrolet as replacement to the Isuzu built
Chevy LUV pickup. Two engine types are available namely the 1.9L 4cyl 2 BBI carbureted
with 101 Torque and 2.8L V6 BBI carbureted with 148 torque. In 1986, the use of
2.2L diesel and 1.9L 4CYL engine was discontinued.
Changes include computer controlled TBI engines and Throttle body injection for
2.8L V6 engine. The interiors including the dashboard and door panels were redesigned.Engine
types for this year are 2.5L 4CYL TBI with 134 torque and 92 HP and 2.8L V6 TBI
with 150 torque and 125 HP.
New sport package that includes two-tone paint, alloy wheels and chrome trim
is offered on four-door Blazers for 1991 models. Included in the optional features
is a front bench seat option which increases the seating capacity to six passengers.
Common to all models is a redesigned grille.
