Chevy Blazer Picture
Chevy Blazer is available in 2-door and 4-door models. Under two-door comes Blazer Extreme
equipped with the 287 Sport suspension package and Blazer ZR2 with the ZR2 wide-stance
sport performance package for better steering and driving. It is sold in various
sizes and configurations which is usually associated with big, usual American
four wheel drive vehicle.
The first generation Blazer produced in 1987, shared its mechanical features
with Suburban. Its feature marked it as a utility vehicle for hunting and camping
and was commonly called as a "K-5" model. The second generation was produced in
1973. Changes include changes in body styles, interior features and optional hard
top which was standard for former models.
Due to low demand, the two-wheel drives were removed in car market in 1983. 1992
models were totally changed from convertible to a full-size Blazer. The roof was
permanently attached making it a short-wheelbase, two-door suburban. 2002 takes
pride in the coming of the new Avalanche as a cross-over sport utility and pick-up
car. It is a four-door truck which features an opening in the cab area through
a "mid-gate" for easier entry and exit.
