Standard for all Chevy Blazer models is a 4.3-liter V6 engine with standard antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, entertainment system including am/fm stereo with CD player, custom cloth reclining bucker seats and split-folding rear bench seat, rear seat heat ducts and driver/passenger air-bags, lift glass or dropgate and daytime running lamps with automatic exterior lamp control Blazers come in 2-dr and 4-dr types in LS and Xtreme models. The 2-drs have manual transmission or optional automatic while 4-drs only have automatic.

 

LS has standard rear-wheel drive and optional 4WD that must be disengaged on dry pavement. Xtreme has 2WD with low steering suspension, 5-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels and special trim and cladding. Key features for Blazer 2-dr are independent front and multi-rear suspension, insta-trac transfer case and rear-quarter swing-out window.

 

Xtreme 2-door comes with specially tuned suspension and xtreme exterior features. ZR 2-Door has added underbody shield package, on/off road tires and specially tuned off-road suspension. Blazer 4-door comes with modified 60/40 custom cloth front bench and split-folding rear bench.
