2000 Chevy Blazer Recall
Defects for Chevrolet Blazers for year 2000-2002 manufactured in September 1999-August
2001 includes malfunction in switch which could develop an open circuit condition
resulting to inoperative stop lamps and rear hazard lamps. Although the mounted
stop lamps and turn signal functions are not affected, the inoperative stop lamps
and rear hazard lamps could fail to warn the driver that the vehicle momentarily
stop and thus may result to car collision. However General Motors Company still
didn?t give the necessary response for this defect. The same recall is given for
2000 Blazer 2WD with V6- 262, 4.3L engine issued in July 2002.
