1998 Chevy Blazer Problem
A hole in the rear break line, missing pinch bolt and discolored brake hubs and
electrical dysfunctions are the common problem for 1998 Chevy Blazer as shown
by NHTSA reports. The car's rear brake line can come in contact with the left
front fender wheelhouse inner panel resulting to a hole in the brake line. This
will result to fluid loss and reduce the effectiveness of the rear-brake. 'Finger
loose' or missing lower steering pinch bolt may lead in dislocation the steering
wheel or in some cases, separation of shaft from the steering gear.
Discolored brake hubs or rotors due to out-of-spec gray iron can decrease the
performance and longetivity of the car's life. Electrical problems include driver's
side window rolls that go down but won't go back up, turn signal noise that goes
off at random and wipers and trip odometer that won't function. Possible solution
for these problems is installation of an MFS.
